Jorge Polanco Has Left Adductor Tightness
4 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco (groin) was forced to leave Tuesday's game against the Pirates early due to left adductor tightness. Polanco attempted to make a diving stop in the second inning and rolled up on the ball in the process. The 27-year-old stayed in the game initially but was ultimately pulled after saying he felt "tightness." Manager Rocco Baldelli said the plan is to rest Polanco on Wednesday before the team's off day the following day, and they'll re-evaluate him on Friday and take things from there. The injury is not expected to linger. Polanco has six hits and six walks each in nine games this spring.
