Corey Dickerson Gets Two Hits On Wednesday
4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Corey Dickerson was in the lineup as the designated hitter for Wednesday evening's Grapefruit League game against the Houston Astros. Dickerson went 2-for-3 with two singles and a run scored. He raised his batting average to .467 and his OPS to 1.067 this spring. Dickerson is trying to come back from a rough 2020 campaign in which just about everything went wrong. He's a free agent after the 2021 season, so he'll be playing for his next contract. Dickerson has upside, but he's not much of an option in mixed leagues, especially since the Marlins have solid outfield depth and may not give him a very long leash if he struggles early on.
