Jordyn Adams Goes Deep for Angels
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfield prospect Jordyn Adams broke out of his 0-for-5 start to the spring with a three-run home run on Monday. The 21-year-old's dinger came against veteran MLB reliever Brad Boxberger. Adams, the 17th overall pick from the 2018 draft, has yet to play above A-ball. He's mostly known for having blazing speed but started to hit for more power at the club's alternate training site in 2020. If the trend continues, Adams becomes an intriguing power/speed threat but is a step or two behind the club's other top outfield prospects in Jo Adell and Brandon Marsh. He's an intriguing dynasty baseball sleeper to monitor closely in 2021.
