LPL/LCK DFS Picks for 3/4/21: DraftKings, FanDuel League of Legends

Billy Hoffer’s League of Legends (LoL) DFS advice and DraftKings, FanDuel lineup picks for LPL and LCK slates on 3/4/21. His top LoL value plays and eSports DFS recommendations.

Hello, eSports enthusiasts, and welcome back to our continued eSports DFS coverage of League of Legends for DraftKings and FanDuel! I'm Billy (aka "the kid") Hoffer and I'm back with some LPL/LCK analysis for tonight's four-match slate.

As usual, we have two matches in the LPL and two in the LCK. And as always, I am going to do my best to give you high-quality analysis and actionable advice for tomorrow morning's DFS slate with my picks for each match and my favorite players to target from each side.

Today I'll be providing my League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for this LPL/LCK slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 3:00 AM on Thursday, March 4th, 2021. If you're not already, then make sure you follow me on Twitter @Hofferkid and hit me up if you have questions!

LPL Matches

Royal Never Give Up (-350) vs. LNG

LNG is coming off an impressive sweep victory over V5. You can say the same for RNG, as they dismantled FPX in a dominating 2-0 sweep. RNG has the edge in all three neutral objectives. LNG has the better first turret rate, with RNG having the better first blood percentage.  I really like LNG as a team and do think they have a shot to make a playoff push here at the end of the split, but I think RNG will be too much for them to handle here. LNG is a live dog and I expect them to take a game here. Gala and Cryin are the two top options from this RNG squad as they combine for over 50% of the total damage dealt.

The pick: RNG, 2-1

Top RNG plays:

  • GALA - ADC
  • Cryin - MID
  • Xiaohu - TOP
  • Ming - SUP

Oh My God vs. Top Esports (-1400)

Probably one of the most lopsided matches we will see all split, TES comes in as massive -1400 favorites taking on one of the bottomfeeders of the LPL, OMG.  TES has an amazing early game, while OMGs is horrible. TES carries the better first blood and first turret rate while also holding large advantages in baron, herald, and dragon control. TES will certainly be the chalkiest stack of the night but for good reason, this will be an easy 2-0 sweep for TES and they should put up kills while doing so. The BOT lane of JackeyLove and Zhuo is my favorite spot here for TES as they hold two of the teams' highest kill participation rates.

The pick: TES, 2-0

Top TES plays:

  • JackeyLove - ADC
  • knight - MID
  • 369 - TOP
  • Zhuo - SUP

Fredit Brion vs. T1 (-600)

We have now seen T1 roll with the same lineup for two consecutive matches, does that mean we can trust them? who knows. I would still wait for lineups to come out before locking them in. Fredit Brion is the worst early game team in the LCK holding a -1500 average gold differential at 15 minutes. T1 on the other hand excels in the early game while holding a +1200 gold differential at 15 minutes. I like T1 to role over Fredit here for a 2-0 sweep. T1 also holds large advantages in every neutral objective control. Teddy is my favorite play from T1 as he holds the team's highest damage %. Oner also holds a 76% kill participation for the side of T1.

The pick: T1, 2-0

Top T1 plays:

  • Teddy - ADC
  • Clozer - MID
  • Oner - JNG
  • Keria - SUP

DragonX (-150) vs. Kt Rolster

A battle between two of the mid-tier teams in the LCK. Both these squads need wins to continue the push to the playoffs. Kt swept this DRX team earlier in the split, but have since suffered a couple of bad losses to the likes of Afreeca, Brion, and Redforce. DRX was swept in their last outing against HLE. The stats between these two squads are pretty even, with DRX having the edge in first turret and baron rates, while Kt has the better first blood and herald control. I like DRX to avenge their 0-2 loss against Kt earlier in the split here and take this match 2-1. Kt is certainly a live dog and I have zero issues stacking them as the ownership will be minimal. Pyosik is my favorite play from DRX, he holds almost a 7-% kill participation.

The pick: DRX 2-1

Top DRX plays:

  • Pyosik - JNG
  • Becca - SUP
  • Kingen - TOP
  • SOLKA - MID

Summary

  1.  Back to four-game slates, you love to see it!
  2. TES is the obvious and chalkiest stack tonight, use them in cash.
  3. I like using a full RNG or T1 stack to be contrarian in tournaments.
  4. The DRX/Kt match will certainly attract the least amount of ownership.

Best of luck tonight, RotoBallers!
