Jayson Tatum Explodes For 35 Points In Losing Effort
4 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum broke out of his shooting slump in a big way on Wednesday night against Atlanta. Tatum dropped 35 points with six rebounds, six assists, three treys, and two steals in 35 minutes. After six straight games of shooting 40 percent from the field or worse, the former third-overall draft pick shot 11 of 21 from the field, his best mark since the beginning of February. Tatum spoke about how he's still been feeling the effects of COVID-19 when running up and down the court- and how he finds that he gets fatigued a bit more easily. It's something he'll continue to work through, though games like these certainly help, despite that his efforts resulted in his team losing. He'll run it back against the Hawks on Friday.
