Chris Paul Scores 29 Points With Seven Assists, No Turnovers
4 years agoPhoenix Suns guard Chris Paul played very well in a narrow loss to the Nets on Tuesday night. Paul poured in 29 points with seven assists, four rebounds, four triples, and a steal while committing no turnovers in 35 minutes of action. The 10-time All-Star did his best to stop a furious Nets' comeback, as he scored 15 points in the fourth quarter, including back-to-back threes with less than four minutes left to play. Paul has been a top-30 player in category formats and a top-50 value in points leagues in his 16th season- and the Suns have been actively looking to limit his minutes a bit in blowouts, giving him a better chance of staying healthy. Paul will get a couple of days off before Friday's battle with the Pelicans, who held him under his scoring average in both contests this year, though both contests were blowouts.
