Zion Williamson Stays Red-Hot With 26-Point Effort
4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson continued his stellar stretch of play in Sunday's loss to Detroit. Williamson dropped 26 points with eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 36 minutes. The 20-year-old has settled in as a top-50 player in category formats, though he's been otherworldly over his last three contests, scoring 30.3 points per game on 67.9 percent shooting from the field. He's only taken 13 threes, though that's a necessary sacrifice for the efficiency that he provides- a 65.1 percent True Shooting Percentage, 14th in the league. Williamson should be a DFS must-play on Tuesday against the Grizzlies, who surrendered 29 points to him on 10 of 14 shooting in their first meeting.
