Ottawa Senators left wing Brady Tkachuk provided a dramatic game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Winnipeg, notching his fourth marker of the season with just nine ticks left in regulation. Connor Brown and Mike Reilly collected the assists on the play. Evgenii Dadonov started off the scoring for the Senators, who recorded only their third win of the season. Putting points on the board is very tough on a bad team and Tkachuk hasn't done too well as of late, as Saturday's goal marks only his second point of the month, but he should be able to turn it on soon.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk (undisclosed) logged only 10:37 of ice time on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes as he returned from an eight-game absence. The power forward, who missed a couple of weeks due to an upper-body injury, sat out the final period of play in a 7-5 victory. Fortunately, it was announced after the game that Tkachuk exited for precautionary reasons. The Senators captain should be good to go for Game 1 against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday. Tkachuk will make his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut in the contest. During the regular season, Tkachuk posted only one point in three meetings with the Maple Leafs. He closed the campaign with a team-high 27 goals and tallied 55 points in 72 appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk (upper body) will end an eight-game absence on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Senators captain aims to get some rhythm before the postseason starts, promising to "play 100 percent." Tkachuk leads Ottawa with 29 goals and 227 hits, while being tied for third with 55 points in 71 games. The Senators plan to have all their big guns out for the regular-season finale, meaning Tkachuk will skate alongside Tim Stutzle and Claude Giroux on the first line and will be the net-front presence on the first power-play unit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk (upper body) will be good to go for the start of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, head coach Travis Green confirmed on Monday. The Senators captain has missed seven games since sustaining an upper-body injury from a hit by Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Ryan Graves on March 30. On Monday, Tkachuk practiced with the team for the first time since getting hurt. He wore a non-contact jersey and took line rushes alongside Tim Stutzle and Fabian Zetterlund. Ottawa has already ruled Tkachuk out for Tuesday's contest against the Chicago Blackhawks. It also would not be surprising if Tkachuk sat out Thursday's regular-season finale against the Carolina Hurricanes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk (upper body) will remain out for Sunday's matchup against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Senators captain has resumed skating, but it appears that he could be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season. Following Sunday's action, Ottawa will have two more games to come. Tkachuk has yet to play this month, sitting out six games. Despite the absence, Tkachuk has remained the team's top goal-scorer with 29 markers. He has also tallied 26 assists in 71 games. Fabian Zetterlund and David Perron have experienced first-line usage during Tkachuk's absence.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
