Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski (lower body) has been removed from the injured reserve and is set to rejoin the lineup for Saturday's clash with Chicago. The 23-year-old missed a week of action. Hopefully, Werenski will be in better form than he was before, as had started the season by collecting only four points in 12 outings and posting an ugly minus-eight record. He will head straight back to the top defensive pairing to play alongside Seth Jones, while also joining the second power-play unit that features Cam Atkinson, who just put up a four-point performance against Chicago on Thursday, so maybe Werenski can get going straight away.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
