Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum scored 33 points on 9-for-22 shooting in Friday's game against the Detroit Pistons. In addition, he grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out seven assists. Tatum was 3-for-7 from three and 12-for-13 from the line. He'll face the Wizards on Sunday, who allow opponents to shoot the highest percentage from three and to score the most points per game. The matchup is so good that we should have some concern that Tatum sits the fourth quarter because the game gets out of hand, but even in that scenario, he should be able to post top-end numbers when he's on the court.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (wrist) has upgraded to available for Friday night's Game 3 against the Orlando Magic. Tatum missed Game 2 with the injury but is set to return and help the Celtics take a 3-0 lead over Orlando. The 27-year-old was underwhelming in Game 1 compared to his norms, putting up just 17 points and making just one three-pointer, though he did grab 14 rebounds. With a few days of rest under his belt, Tatum should be in much better position to make a bigger impact on Friday. Fantasy managers and DFS players should feel free to fire away and get him in their lineups.--Kevin Larson - RotoBaller

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (wrist) has been tagged as doubtful for Friday's Game 3 against the Orlando Magic. He also had the designation on the initial injury report ahead of Game 2 before missing the first postseason game of his career. It appears likely that the Celtics will remain without Tatum on Friday, which will keep Al Horford in the starting unit. The veteran big man produced a solid 32-minute shift in Wednesday's Game 2 victory, posting nine points, 10 rebounds, one assist, and one block. Tatum's absence also increases the offensive usage of Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis, who scored 56 of the team's 109 points on Wednesday night.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (wrist) has been officially ruled out for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Orlando Magic. This is not surprising, given that the team initially listed Tatum as doubtful on the injury report. Games 3 and 4 are also scheduled for this week, so Tatum could miss several contests if he doesn't recover quickly from his wrist injury. Al Horford is set to take on a larger role in the rotation in his absence, while the team will need to get more offense from Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and Derrick White.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (wrist) carries a doubtful tag on the injury report for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Orlando Magic. Tatum injured his right wrist in Sunday's Game 1 win and has been labeled day-to-day. The doubtful designation suggests it is unlikely he will play on Wednesday night. Boston will likely use Al Horford as Tatum's replacement in the starting lineup, while Sam Hauser is also an option. At the same time, Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis will become the team's primary scoring options, although the latter struggled in the series opener, finishing with just five points on 1-for-8 shooting.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
