LaMelo Ball Drills Career-High Seven Threes
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball was on fire from beyond the arc during Monday's blowout win over the Rockets, as he drilled a career-high seven threes. Ball shot just 38.9 percent from the field, though he added 10 assists and seven rebounds in 32 minutes. The 19-year-old has looked good in the five contests since cracking the starting lineup, with averages of 22.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 3.8 triples, and 1.0 steals per game while playing at least 30 minutes in all five outings. Ball has lived up to his ADP so far, as he's been a top-65 player in both formats. He's the real deal for an exciting young Hornets team that will take on the Grizzlies on Wednesday. Memphis held Ball to 2 of 7 shooting from deep in their first meeting.
