Kemba Walker Scores 24 Points With Full Line
4 years agoBoston Celtics guard Kemba Walker poured in 24 points with four assists, two triples, one rebound, a block, and a steal in Friday's win over the Clippers. Walker had been in a shooting slump in his previous three games, so it was a good sign that he shot 47.4 percent from the field. He also knocked down the game-clinching free throws at the line, which should only continue to bolster his confidence in his own shot. Walker remains the third offensive option in Boston behind Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, but his efficiency has been well below his career averages. He's also playing the fewest minutes per game since his rookie year- a cautious approach after last year's injury- so once he resumes his usual workload, he could end up producing better fantasy value down the stretch.
