Leonard Fournette An RB2-Type Option For The Super Bowl
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette had a quiet season for his team but has been rolling in the playoffs. Fournette has handled at least 17 touches in each of the Buccaneers' three playoff games and has exceeded 100 scrimmage yards in two of those contests. He's also found the end zone six times in as many games. Fournette has actually seen fewer touches since Ronald Jones II returned to the lineup- the latter is more cost-effective for building lineups around. Still, Tampa Bay will want to establish the ground game against the Chiefs' run defense- which ranked 21st during the regular season- and we could see a 1-2 punch of Fournette and Jones, with Fournette likely seeing a slight carry edge. He'll be the more expensive back for DFS, but Fournette is playing good football right now and should be able to deliver for fantasy managers.
