Ryan Palmer Looks To Stay Hot In The Desert
4 years agoThe impressive run continued for Ryan Palmer last weekend at the Farmers Insurance Open, as he posted his third top-four finish over his past four events. Palmer's performance level has been sensational almost across the board since the COVID-19 restart, but there might be some concerns about what happens if his putter cools off. The American has gained an astronomical 11 strokes with his flat stick over the last two tournaments, which is just about 11 shots better than his expected baseline total if we use a two-year sample size. With Palmer missing three of his last four cuts at this week's property, we are marginally concerned about what to expect, but there is no denying that the Texas native has found something of late.
