The 25-year-old, who has emerged as the Hawk's starting goaltender for now, was impressive in turning aside 32 of 33 shots against in the contest. Having started six of the Hawks' last seven games, Lankinen has produced a sterling 1.97 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage.
