Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott will get the nod for his third start of the season on Sunday when Philly hosts the New York Islanders. The experienced netminder is off to a perfect 2-0-0 start to the year with a 1.98 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage. The Flyers have won three in a row, while the Isles have gone cold with four consecutive defeats, which makes Elliott a great choice in goal for fantasy managers on Sunday night. Ilya Sorokin is expected to be the Isles' starter and he's winless in the NHL so far in two outings with a 3.57 goals-against average and a .875 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Brian Elliott will be between the pipes for Saturday's clash with the Blackhawks. The veteran is getting the nod for the 17th time this season, hoping to improve a 9-5-2 record. Elliott has done a decent job for the Lightning, but he has dropped all of his last four starts and has allowed 12 goals across his last two appearances. For the season overall, Elliott has a 3.29 goals-against average with a .894 save percentage and one shutout. He's been off form lately, but it's a meeting with a team that sits last in the league in goals per game, so Elliott has a great chance to end his losing streak Saturday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Brian Elliott posted his first shutout of the season on Sunday with a 28-save performance in a 5-0 victory over Buffalo. The veteran netminder made this 14th start of the campaign and improved his record to 8-3-3. It's been a very solid season for Elliott, who sits on a 2.31 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage. The 37-year-old journeyman has now recorded a shutout with five different franchises. Sean Burke (7), Dwayne Roloson (6) and Lorne Chabot (6) are the only goalies in league history to achieve it with more clubs.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Tampa Bay Lightning netminder Brian Elliott will get a rare start while playing against the Rangers Friday. Elliott's last outing resulted in a loss to the Senators, where the veteran goalie allowed three goals on 25 Ottawa shots. Appearing in just seven games, he has a record of 3-2-1 while sitting on a 2.78 goals-against-average and a .903 save percentage. He has served mainly as a backup throughout the later years in his lengthy career. Unless something drastic happens in Tampa Bay, Elliott isn't an essential player in fantasy.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Brian Elliott will get his fourth start of the season on Tuesday against St. Louis. The veteran netminder has won both of his last two starts, improving to 2-1-0 for the season. He's allowed 3.30 goals per game with a .878 save percentage. Elliott owns a winning record, but he's allowed at least three goals in all of his appearances so far and this is far from an easy matchup for him. The Blues have been slumping lately, but they got back to winning ways against Columbus at the weekend and should be able to kick on now.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
