He finished the regular-season series against Toronto with a 3-1-0 record, allowing only 1.77 goals with a .925 save percentage. Furthermore, he has gone 9-4-1, including the playoffs, against the Maple Leafs since 2022-23. The multi-time Vezina Trophy winner will certainly be confident of more success against Toronto after shining in the opening round. Bobrovsky allowed two or fewer goals three times during the five-game series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Tampa Bay beat Bobrovsky twice inside 11 seconds in the second period, but the Russian netminder enjoyed a solid bounce-back performance after giving up four goals on 21 shots during a 5-1 loss in Game 3. Bobrovsky now holds a 3-1 record in the matchup with a 2.01 goals-against average, a .901 save percentage, and one shutout. He's performing excellently in this series, providing the Panthers a strong opportunity to finish off their neighbors on Wednesday night in Tampa.

Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky recorded his fourth career postseason shutout on Thursday, securing a 2-0 victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning with 19 saves. Although Bobrovsky had limited work, he made several crucial saves, tying Semyon Varlamov for the seventh most postseason shutouts by an active netminder. Dating back to last year's playoffs, Bobrovsky now has a 7-2-0 record against the Lightning. In this year's series, he has impressively stopped 39 of 41 shots, giving him a 1.00 goals-against average and a .951 save percentage.
