LeBron James Goes Cold In Second Half Versus Pistons
4 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James started off a perfect 7-for-7 from the field against the Pistons on Thursday, and with Anthony Davis (quadriceps) out, he was set for a monster night, but he ended up getting only two points in the second half and had a disappointing 22-point performance. LeBron finished with 8-for-19 shooting from the field, including a 4-for-8 effort from outside, and he added 10 assists, seven rebounds, and one steal. He finished with a decent line in the end, but there was potential for so much more. Kyle Kuzma, who took over from Davis in the starting unit, also had a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. The Lakers have now taken two L's in a row ahead of Saturday's big matchup against Boston. We can expect a big bounce-back effort from the team, and especially the King, who always seems to deliver in nationally televised games.
