Colorado Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen tallied another goal in Friday's 3-2 overtime win against the Anaheim Ducks. He now has at least one point in four out of five Avalanche games. The Finnish native is second on the team in points with four goals and two assists. Rantanen plays on Colorado's first line alongside Gabriel Landeskog and Nathan MacKinnon. The trio combined for 12 shots on goal against Anaheim. Playing on such a dynamic line and skating on the team's first power-play unit should make Rantanen a priority pick most nights for DFS players.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars winger Mikko Rantanen finished Saturday's 5-3 loss against the Utah Hockey Club with two assists. The Finnish star picked up an early power-play assist on a Wyatt Johnston goal and helped to set up Jason Robertson late in the second period. It was Rantanen's 18th appearance for Dallas. Following a slow start in Texas, he has rediscovered some of his best form and is averaging close to a point per game with the team, boasting five goals and 12 assists. Rantanen is among the most productive playoff performers of all time, averaging 1.25 points across 81 games, giving Stars fans plenty to look forward to as the regular season wraps up.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Dallas Stars right winger Mikko Rantanen tallied three points during their 5-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Saturday evening. In the opening frame, Rantanen would tally the secondary assist on Roope Hintz's power-play goal. In the third, Rantanen would tally the primary helper on Wyatt Johnson's 29th goal of the campaign and find the back of the net himself, with an empty-net goal. This victory clinched their spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. This impressive outing for Rantanen also extended his current point streak to four games. During this stretch, he has scored two goals and added five helpers. Through 73 games this season, split between time with three clubs, Rantanen has scored 31 goals and added 50 helpers. He will look to stay hot on Monday in a rematch against Seattle.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

The Dallas Stars have acquired right wing Mikko Rantanen in exchange for forward Logan Stankoven and two first-round picks, and two third-round picks. Rantanen was traded to the Hurricanes earlier this season and will now play for his third club. The Stars also have an eight-year extension in place with Rantanen, as he was a pending unrestricted free agent. Through 62 contests this season split between Colorado and Carolina, Rantanen has found the back of the net 27 times with 43 helpers. He has tallied 21 of his points on the power play and tallied 175 shots on goal (2.8 per game). Before this season, Rantanen scored at least 30 goals in each of his previous four seasons with a career-high of 55 during the 2022 season. In 2022, he also tallied a career-best 105 points. Fantasy managers should expect Rantanen to play on the first line alongside Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Carolina Hurricanes winger Mikko Rantanen (lower body) is set to play for Finland on Thursday against the USA in the 4 Nations Face-Off. Rantanen was hurt a week ago against the Minnesota Wild and missed Carolina's last game before the 4 Nations Face-Off. He did not participate in Thursday's optional morning skate but is expected to play against Team USA. In practice, Rantanen has skated alongside former Colorado Avalanche teammate Artturi Lehkonen and Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov on Finland's top line. Over his last three tournaments with Finland, Rantanen has tallied nine goals and 30 points in 26 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
