Aaron Gordon Flirts With Triple-Double In Loss To Knicks
4 years agoOrlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon flirted with a triple-double in a 91-84 loss to the Knicks on Monday. Gordon was a bit erratic with his shot, though he made up for it with a career-high 17 rebounds along with nine assists, two triples, and two blocks in 36 minutes. The 25-year-old had his minutes restricted in December but has jumped from 23.6 per game to 31.3 in January, which has done wonders for his statistical output. Despite the shooting struggles, Gordon has been excellent as a facilitator lately, with at least five assists in four of his last five contests. He should have a great chance of recalibrating his shot on Wednesday against the Timberwolves, who have allowed the fifth-highest opponent field-goal percentage in the league.
