Luka Doncic Delivers Monster Triple-Double In Loss
4 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic was a beast in Sunday's 117-100 loss to the Bulls. Doncic produced 36 points with 16 rebounds, 15 assists, six triples, and two steals in 38 minutes. The 21-year-old became the youngest player in NBA history to record 35+ points, 15+ rebounds, and 15+ assists in a game- and passed Michael Jordan on the all-time triple-doubles list all in a day's work. Doncic started slow but is playing extremely well in January, with averages of 30.8 points, 12.7 rebounds, 11.1 assists, 3.3 triples, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. It's safe to say that he's back as a top fantasy option, with a run at the league's MVP within reason if he keeps this up. Doncic gets a Monday matchup with the Raptors, one of the ten fastest-paced teams in the NBA.
