Braden Holtby Set To Start Season Opener
4 years agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Braden Holtby will be between the pipes for Wednesday's game against the Edmonton Oilers. It will be Holtby's first appearance with his new team, after spending 10 years with the Washington Capitals. The 31-year-old posted a 25-14-6 record with an unflattering 3.11 goals-against average last season. Holtby is a bit of a wildcard this year, especially with Thatcher Demko likely taking at least half of his starts. He is a low-end DFS option for Wednesday's slate against Connor McDavid and the Oilers.
