Buccaneers Defense A Strong Start On Wild-Card Weekend
4 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense is poised for a good game against a banged-up Washington Football Team offense on wild-card weekend. Tampa Bay's unit has recorded the fourth-most sacks this year and the second-highest pressure rate in the NFL. As a team, Washington has thrown the fifth-most interceptions and allowed the second-most sacks. Not only is it a dream matchup on paper, but Washington quarterback Alex Smith (calf) is banged up and could be rotated with backup Taylor Heinicke. Look for the Buccaneers defense to feast on both quarterbacks on Saturday night.
