4 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery will face a tough Saints run defense during wild-card weekend. New Orleans has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs, and only one runner has posted over 100 rushing yards against them all season. This is not promising news for the Bears, whose late-season resurgence has been predicated on a rejuvenated running game. Montgomery enters the weekend as one of the hottest runners in the league, posting eight total touchdowns and 755 all-purpose yards over his final six games. Montgomery himself had 21 carries for 89 yards with 16 receiving yards against the Saints in Week 8, and fantasy managers can expect 20-plus touches in this contest.
