Saints Defense Dominant In Victory
4 years agoThe New Orleans Saints Defense was dominant in a 33-7 victory over the Carolina Panthers. New Orleans intercepted a season-high five passes and recorded three sacks in the blowout win. The defensive line harassed quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and forced him into some errant throws, then proceeded to do the same thing to backup P.J. Walker. This was the kind of performance to boost the team's confidence heading into the playoffs. The Saints defense will look to slow down quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who has played good football lately but has a turnover-filled past.
