Matt Ryan Throws For 265 Yards And Two Scores
4 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan completed 29 of 44 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-27 loss to the Buccaneers. It's Ryan's third game in a row with at least 250 passing yards and two touchdowns. The loss puts the Falcons' final record at 4-12 as they head into an offseason of change. Ryan- who is under contract for the next three seasons- threw for 921 yards and seven touchdowns over his team's final three games. It remains to be seen whether the Falcons will select a quarterback in the draft, though it seems Ryan has enough arm left if they want him to play out the remainder of his contract. The 35-year-old signal-caller has finished as the QB14 or better in every season since 2009, a remarkable run of consistency. He offers no ability with his legs but should be a late-round value once again in 2021- even if his play slips a bit.
