OwnersBox Quarterbacks
Deshaun Watson (Houston Texans) vs. TEN
This Titans/Texans Week 17 matchup pits two of the worst pass defenses in the league against one another in what should be a huge fantasy day for both offenses. Watson's pass catchers have been depleted without Will Fuller but his rushing prowess keeps his floor high and he still has Brandin Cooks and a resurgent Keke Coutee catching passes. The Titans rank 30th in the league in pass-defense DVOA, according to Football Outsiders, and are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position this season.
Ryan Tannehill (Tennessee Titans) @HOU
Tannehill takes the field as the other half of the aforementioned Titans/Texans game. While he doesn't have the name equity that Watson does, Tannehill has been an excellent fantasy quarterback this season and has shown that he also has some rushing upside with three touchdowns on the ground over his past two games. The Houston pass defense ranks 29th in DVOA and is 11th in fantasy points allowed per game to QBs in 2020. The Titans still haven't locked up the AFC South so they should be extremely motivated on Sunday.
OwnersBox Running Backs
Alvin Kamara (New Orleans Saints) @CAR
Kamara is going to be a popular play after his ridiculous six-touchdown outing last week. The veteran star will look to continue his hot streak against Carolina in Week 17. The Saints have an outside chance at winning the No. 1 seed in the NFC, so expect them to play their key players throughout the Week 17 contest. The Panthers are unlikely to put up much of a fight against Kamara as they rank 21st in run-defense DVOA on the year and have served up big games to Aaron Jones (145 rushing yards and a touchdown) in Week 15 and J.D. McKissic (eight catches for 77 yards and a touchdown) last week.
Derrick Henry (Tennessee Titans) @HOU
Henry turned in 98 quiet rushing yards in a blowout loss to the Packers but he still managed to see a sizeable workload with 23 carries. He is lined up to have a huge outing against the Texans in Week 17. Houston's run defense is now allowing the most fantasy points per game after they got shredded by Samaje Perine (!) last week. Henry ripped this same run defense for 212 yards and two scores back in Week 6.
OwnersBox Wide Receivers
Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers) @CHI
Adams turned in yet another ridiculous game in Week 16, posting 11 catches for 142 yards and three scores against the Titans. He will look to keep rolling in a tough matchup against the Bears to finish the regular season. While Chicago's pass defense has been solid this season, ranking ninth in DVOA, but they have been beatable in recent weeks. The Bears have allowed at least one WR touchdown in each of their last seven games, with one of those scores going to Adams back in Week 12. The Packers are still trying to lock down the No. 1 seed in the NFC, so look for them to play their key players throughout the contest.
Calvin Ridley (Atlanta Falcons) @TB
Ridley ripped the Bucs for 163 yards and a touchdown back in Week 15 and will get a rematch against Tampa Bay to finish off the season. Julio Jones is unlikely to suit up for the finale, leaving Ridley to operate as the team's No. 1 wideout. He sets up as a solid consolation prize if your opponent drafts Davante Adams before you can.
OwnersBox Tight Ends
Mark Andrews (Baltimore Ravens) @CIN
The Chiefs have the No. 1 seed locked up and are likely to rest their starters, taking Travis Kelce off the board in all formats. That leaves Mark Andrews as the top-recommended tight end target with Baltimore fighting for their playoff lives against Cincy. Andrews has been performing well of late, having gone for at least 61 receiving yards in five straight contests. The Bengals have been extremely generous to opposing tight ends this year, allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position.
George Kittle (San Francisco 49ers) vs. SEA
In Week 16, Kittle appeared in his first game since Week 8 and immediately reasserted himself as the team's top option in the passing game, despite only playing on 50% of the offensive snaps. Look for him to see a bit more playing time in a plus Week 17 matchup against Seattle. The Seahawks have struggled against tight ends of late, having allowed two scores to Eagles tight ends in Week 12 and a huge 13-catch, 101-yard outing to Logan Thomas in Week 15.
