The Baltimore Ravens are expected to sign former Lions starting safety Jayron Kearse to their practice squad after he clears the league's COVID-19 protocols, according to a source. Kearse could potentially be promoted to the active roster during the postseason. Kearse was suspended for the first three games of the season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. The 26-year-old managed a career-high 59 combined tackles, two passes defensed and a forced fumble in his 11 games (seven starts) for Detroit before they released him. Baltimore's defense has been fantasy relevant for most of the 2020 campaign, but they had a rough patch in the second half of the season which coincided with a COVID-19 outbreak that sidelined a handful of their starters. They are nearing full strength with one more regular season game remaining and should be a top-three fantasy unit in Week 17 against the Bengals.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
