Jared Goff Breaks Thumb In Week 16
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff struggled mightily in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks. He completed 24 of 43 passes for 234 yards and an interception. Goff ultimately sustained a broken thumb late in the game that will likely keep him out for the team's season finale and possibly the playoffs. Goff was rarely an elite fantasy quarterback this year, but he was usually a safe play in the right matchups. His floor really bottomed out this year, as he's going to finish in the low end of the QB2 tier overall. He's tied to the Rams for a few years, and you're going to be hoping for a bounce-back 2021 season with the weapons he has at his disposal. If Goff is out, expect to see John Wolford under center in Week 17 against the Cardinals.
