Golden Tate Ruled Out
4 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate (calf) has been ruled out for Week 16 against the Ravens. Tate hasn't really been on the fantasy radar this year in redraft leagues, as he's been buried on the depth chart behind Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton and tight end Evan Engram in 2020. The 32-year-old has just 35 catches on 52 targets for 388 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games (four starts) this season. His absence on Sunday against Baltimore will mean more looks for Shepard, Slayton and Engram, while Dante Pettis could also see some run in three-receiver sets. However, New York's pass-catchers will be facing a tough matchup with the Ravens and won't particularly have high fantasy ceilings this weekend, even with quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring) trending toward a return.
