Tyler Lockett Will Have Lower Ceiling Against Rams
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett started the year hot and has had some good games since then, but Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams doesn't figure to be another one of them. The Rams have been one of the best defenses all season and they've been the best defense against wide receivers, as they're allowing just 16.6 fantasy points per game to the position. Lockett also appears to have been passed in the pecking order by teammate D.K. Metcalf. Lockett has just one more target on the season than Metcalf, but he has two fewer touchdowns and over 300 fewer yards. Lockett could take advantage of being out of Jalen Ramsey's coverage on the outside, but the matchup as a whole doesn't bode well for Lockett reaching his ceiling in Week 16. Consider him more of a low-end WR2/high-end WR3/flex against the Rams.
