Giants Optimistic On Daniel Jones In Week 16
4 years agoThe New York Giants are really optimistic that quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring) can return to play in Week 16 against the Ravens after sitting out the Week 15 loss to the Browns. Head coach Joe Judge said he was "really encouraged" when asked how optimistic he was about Jones and added that the second-year quarterback is on the "right track" to play on Sunday. The Giants will put Jones through a more intensive workout in practice on Thursday to test his ankle and hamstring. As long as the 23-year-old doesn't have any setbacks on Thursday or Friday, he should be good to go, but fantasy managers shouldn't trust him in single-QB leagues against a strong Ravens Defense fighting for a playoff spot.
