Edmonton Oilers defenseman Oscar Klefbom will miss the entirety of the 2020-2021 season with a chronic shoulder injury. The Swedish native, coming off a campaign in which he posted 34 points (five goals, 29 assists), 18 power-play points and 159 shots on goal in 62 games, is expected to be fully healthy for the 2021-2022 season. Klefbom has dealt with shoulder issues throughout his career - missing 16 games in 2017-2018 and another nine games last spring. Labeled as the Oilers' number-one rearguard over the past few seasons, Klefbom is a key loss for Edmonton. Expect new free-agent acquisition Tyson Barrie to step in and try and replace Klefbom's offensive production in 2020-2021. --Chase Davis - RotoBaller
