4 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) was held out of practice Thursday. Thomas was absent at practice for the second straight day, a marked difference from his normal practice routine of the past couple of weeks. As of right now, the All-Pro wideout should be considered genuinely questionable for the big contest against the Chiefs, though at least a limited session on Friday would have him on the right track. Thomas has been a floor-based option with Taysom Hill under center, though he would retain much of his ceiling if Drew Brees (ribs, lung) were to suit up. If Thomas sits, Emmanuel Sanders and Tre'Quan Smith become more appealing options.--Tim Capurso
