Eagles Defense Loses Rodney McLeod To Torn ACL
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles safety Rodney McLeod (knee) suffered a torn ACL in the Week 14 upset win over the Saints on Sunday and will miss the rest of the 2020 season. McLeod returned to the Eagles this offseason and the team departed with Malcolm Jenkins instead. The 30-year-old had another major knee injury in 2018, which limited him to just three games that year. McLeod was a top-50 IDP defensive back for the Eagles this year, recording 43 tackles, five passes defensed, one interception and two fumble recoveries in 13 games. It's bad news for an Eagles secondary that will face the Cardinals and All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins this weekend. Philadelphia's defense won't have much upside for fantasy managers as the fantasy playoffs roll on in Week 15.
