Mike Evans Leads Team In Receiving Yards
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans caught three of five targets for 56 receiving yards in a win over Minnesota. Evans did most of his damage on a third-quarter drive, where he hauled in two passes for 36 receiving yards, helping lead to a Buccaneers' touchdown. The Buccaneers weren't going to pass much with a 17-6 lead at the half, as the game script wasn't in Evans' favor. Perhaps Evans can have a more fruitful day in next week's matchup against the Falcons, who have struggled to hold down receivers. He'll be on the WR1/2 border for that contest.
