Colt McCoy, Daniel Jones Could Both Get Snaps
Daniel Jones and Colt McCoy at quarterback in Week 14. If true, that split would instantly make both players non-viable fantasy options, as it would be too hard to predict how things play out for Giants. It would also be a slight downgrade for the Giants pass rushers, though none of them were great plays either.

Colt McCoy Works Out For The Vikings On Tuesday
Colt McCoy was one of eight players to work out for the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday, according to Field Yates of ESPN. This move makes sense for Minnesota, as backup quarterback Nick Mullens (back) could potentially be placed on Injured Reserve. That means the Vikings are one Kirk Cousins injury away from starting 25-year-old rookie Jaren Hall under center. McCoy could serve as a nice stopgap backup QB option if Mullens ends up going to IR.

Colt McCoy Released By Cardinals
Colt McCoy on Monday. McCoy has been getting reps with the first-team offense during the preseason but looks to be the odd man out after the team traded for Joshua Dobbs. The 36-year-old started 36 games and appeared in 56 games over the last 13 seasons, passing for 7,975 yards, 34 touchdowns, and 32 interceptions. He could have some interest from other organizations. After his release, Dobbs and rookie quarterback Clayton Tune will seemingly compete to be the team's Week 1 starter against the Washington Commanders. Both will have low ceilings in a mediocre Cardinals' offense. Kyler Murray (PUP) will miss at least the first four games of 2023.

Colt McCoy Starts, Plays One Drive In Preseason Opener
Colt McCoy got the start in the team's 18-17 win over Denver Friday night. The veteran just saw one series, completing all four pass attempts for 17 yards. He also added one carry for five yards. All signs point to the 36-year-old being the team's starter in 2023, as long as Kyler Murray (knee) remains sidelined. He is not worth a pick in standard-sized leagues but should be added in deeper superflex leagues.

Colt McCoy Taking Part In OTAs
Colt McCoy (elbow) was taking part in organized team activities on Monday. All signs point to McCoy, who is back after dealing with an elbow injury last year that lingered into the offseason, getting a sizeable workload this year with Kyler Murray (knee) not expected to be ready for the start of the season. "For me, my No. 1 priority is learning the system," McCoy said. The veteran signal-caller went 3-3 while completing 71% of his passes for 1,520 yards, four TDs and four interceptions in six games in place of the injured Murray in his first two years in the desert. Arizona also has David Blough and Jeff Driskel at the position, but McCoy has the most experience and is expected to start in Week 1 this fall.
