Leonard Fournette A Desperation Flex In Week 14
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette has been a disappointing fantasy football player in 2020. Since becoming the latest shiny new car in Tampa Bay's garage, Fournette has turned 69 rushing attempts into 271 yards, 103 of which came in one contest. Despite head coach Bruce Arians' insisting that he wants Ronald Jones II to be the lead back, Fournette has led the backfield in snaps the last two weeks. This likely has more to do with the negative game scripts Tampa Bay faced, as they seem to trust Fournette more as a receiver out of the backfield. Fournette has two games this year with six or more receptions ahead of a matchup with a Vikings' defense that has allowed the ninth-most catches to halfbacks. He is a desperation RB3/4, though he should only be seriously considered in PPR leagues.
