We have made it to Week 14 of the NFL season, and we have some injury news to monitor, and for now, no serious COVID issues on our hands. We once again have a 13 game slate thanks to bye weeks being completed for all the NFL teams. There are currently four-game totals over 50 points and five games with spreads of seven or more. There appear to be some lopsided games while also having some potential shootouts to target.
There is a ton of value when looking at the Week 14 slate from a cash game perspective. For cash, this week, paying up a quarterback, or at least not fully punting the position, maybe the way to go. Deshaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers are strong plays, while Kyler Murray is at a discount and Ryan Tannehill has a smash spot. Many cheaper options could fall into cash considerations, but not many are "sure things" for cash games. It is a smart move at the running back position to go back to the James Robinson well and some other higher-priced options before locking in some of the cheaper plays. The wide receiver is once again wide open. The elite plays like DeVante Adams, but there are many values, more than those mentioned in this article. The tight end is usually wasteland if not using Travis Kelce or Darren Waller, so pay up or punt away with the option below.
This article will take a look at some of the value plays for each week of the NFL. However, when you look at value plays for GPP, you are swinging for the fences somewhat. Here I will be focusing on cash games and the necessity for slightly more safety as you are just looking to finish in the top half or so of the competition. Therefore, we are looking for cheaper players who should see a decent workload, pass attempts, targets, or carriers. Let's take a look at the cash value plays for Week 14 of the 2020 NFL season.

Week 14 Quarterback Cash Game Value Plays
Mike Glennon, JAX vs TEN | DK: $5,100, FD: $6,600
Glennon usually does not scream cash values, but he does this week. Glennon has been steady Eddy in his two starts this season, attempting at least 35 passes, throwing for at least 235 yards, throwing for at least one touchdown, and scored at least 15 fantasy points. This week he gets a great matchup versus a Titans Defense that ranks 28 on the season and 30 the last four weeks versus opposing quarterbacks. They are allowing over 280 passing yards, two touchdown passes, and over 25 fantasy points. The Jaguars are over a touchdown dog to the Titans, leading to a lot of passing for Glennon. For his price tag this week, he brings a lot of cash game upside and allows rosters to have a few of the cash game studs.
There are not a lot of solid values at quarterback. Paying up is likely the play this week.
Week 14 Running Back Cash Game Value Plays
J.D. McKissic, WAS at SF | DK: $4,900, FD: $6,500
It is official, Antonio Gibson is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Niners. Slide on in McKissic as the main back with Peyton Barber likely being a thorn in our side. As much as Barber can steal some goal-line situations, McKissic should be the main back and get most of the passing work. After a couple of down weeks, McKissic was back to double-digit targets for the Football Team, and without Gibson, he could also receive double-digit carries to go with a heavy target workload once again. He will be going up against a Niners defense ranked 18 versus running backs over the last four games. Allowing nearly 85 yards on the ground and, more importantly, 5.5 receptions a game. They are getting beat by pass-catching backs, and that works perfectly for McKissic and the check down offense of Alex Smith.
Ty Johnson, NYJ at SEA | DK: $4,700, FD: $5,500
Johnson is only in play if Frank Gore is out this Sunday, and as of Friday afternoon, Gore is still in concussion protocol. So, for now, it looks like Johnson is the man this Sunday. He is coming off a monster game where 22 carries 104 yards and a score for over 20 fantasy points. Johnson will be facing a Seahawks Defense that ranks 27 versus running backs over the last four games, allowing over 25 fantasy points per game to opposing backs. The Jets are nearly two-touchdown underdogs versus the Seahawks, which usually does not bode well for a running back. The passing work should be in play for Johnson and a lead dog role; however, it unfolds. The volume in a strong matchup makes Johnson a nice value on Sunday.
With Ahmed out, Myles Gaskin becomes a phenomenal value at RB this week.
Week 14 Wide Receiver Cash Game Value Plays
Corey Davis, TEN at JAX | DK: $5,700, FD: $6,800
While everyone continues to focus their love and attention on Antonio Brown, we shall enjoy the consistent cash game goodness of Davis. He has been targeted five or more times in all but two games this season, five or more receptions in all but three games, and double-digit fantasy production in all but one game this season. Davis has been as consistent as they come for cash games. This week he finds himself in another favorable matchup versus the Jaguars. The Jags defense ranks 28 on the season and 30 over the last four games versus wide receivers. They are allowing over 200 receiving yards and nearly two touchdowns per game. Look for Davis to continue is consistent pace as the heavily favored Titans score early and often on Sunday.
Brandon Aiyuk, SF vs WAS | DK: $5,400, FD: $6,700
When Aiyuk is active for the Niners, he is an extremely popular target for his quarterback. He has been targeted at least seven times in four straight games and has scored 19 or more fantasy points in each of those four games. He will face a Football Team defense that ranks 28 versus wide receivers over the last four games. They are allowing over 180 receiving yards, 1.5 touchdowns, and over 45 fantasy points per game. Aiyuk should be targeted plenty once again by Nick Mullens while bringing back a nice cash value on Sunday.
Collin Johnson, JAX vs TEN | DK: $3,600, FD: $5,100
The mid-range options like Davis and Aiyuk are aplenty this week for cash, so let's dig deep for a strong cash punt. Johnson is not a name that registers with many when thinking of receivers to target cash, yet he is a nice option. Johnson has started the last two games for the Jags and has been solid. He has been targeted at least six times in each game, with four receptions and over 12 fantasy points per game. For his discounted price tag, that is a great return. The Titans rank 30 versus wide receivers allowing nearly 190 yards, 1.2 touchdowns, and over 40 fantasy points per game on the season. Johnson pairs nicely with Glennon in a game the Jags should be throwing a lot and will allow your cash lineups to have a lot of higher-priced options.
There is a ton of value at WR for cash. If you have other questions, just let me know.
Week 14 Tight End Cash Game Value Plays
Cole Kmet, CHI vs HOU | DK: $2,900, FD: $4,600
There are a few punt tight end options if not paying all the way up for Kelce this week or a few other mid-priced options. The lowest-priced target on the list is Kmet. Kmet's workload has been building in recent weeks and took off last week with five receptions on seven targets as well as a touchdown. Over Kmet's last three games, he has received 12% of the team's target share and nearly 12% of the red-zone share. Last week that rose to a 21% target share and a 33% red-zone share. He faces off versus a Texans Defense, which ranks 17 on the season versus tight ends, allowing nearly 13 fantasy points per game. Kmet is a bit risky but fits in nicely as a punt tight end in cash games.
