Duke Johnson A Low-End RB2 Against Colts
4 years agoHouston Texans running back Duke Johnson could lead the backfield another time in Week 13 if David Johnson (concussion) isn't activated. David Johnson reportedly looked good in practice, though there's no guarantee that he'll be out there Sunday. Despite being gashed by Derrick Henry last week, the Colts are not a matchup to target for running backs, as they've allowed just two 100-yard rushers all year- both Henry. If David Johnson is indeed out, Duke Johnson is seeing RB2-level volume, which makes it hard to bench him. Still, he'll likely need to find the end zone to warrant starting him against this defense.
