Jordan Akins Puts Up Season-High 83 Receiving Yards
4 years agoHouston Texans tight end Jordan Akins caught five of six targets for 83 receiving yards in a win over the Patriots. Akins' 83 yards were a season-high, as he made a couple of big plays throughout the game. The big tight end seemed to separate himself at least a little bit from Darren Fells and Pharaoh Brown, as he proved capable of being a dependable downfield option for Deshaun Watson. Unfortunately, it seems like the Texans will continue rotating between the three guys at this position, which will make their usage maddening to predict. Still, Akins is probably worth holding if you have him rostered.
