We have made it to Week 11 of the NFL season, and for now, all 11 games on the main slate are still on track to play this week. It is a weird week by 2020 standards as there are only two games with game totals over 50, and the highest total is only 51.5. There is also some interesting weather this week, but nothing at this time that appears to be as insane as recent events with gale-force winds.
When looking at the Week 11 slate from a cash game perspective, there are some clear spots to pay up for and some clear spots to use some of this value. The quarterback position does not have Kyler Murray or Patrick Mahomes on the main slate, so there is reason to start with Deshaun Watson or use one of the values below. At the running back position Alvin Kamara is the best play at the position but is also very expensive, so use some of the value below to pair up with Kamara. The wide receiver position still has the studs Keenan Allen and Terry McLaurin (who is still too cheap) as cash game rocks at WR. If you can build with Kamara, Allen, McLaurin, and then some of the value below, you should be sitting pretty late Sunday evening.
This article will take a look at some of the value plays for each week of the NFL. However, when you look at value plays for GPP, you are swinging for the fences somewhat. Here I will be focusing on cash games and the necessity for slightly more safety as you are just looking to finish in the top half or so of the competition. Therefore, we are looking for cheaper players who should see a decent workload, pass attempts, targets, or carriers. Let's take a look at the cash value plays for Week 11 of the 2020 NFL season.

Week 11 Quarterback Cash Game Value Plays
Joe Burrow, CIN at WAS | DK: $5,500, FD: $7,700
It has been a couple of weeks, but we are back talking about a low priced Burrow in cash. FD has priced him much more appropriately than DK, but still a value regardless. He is coming off his worst fantasy game of the season, which can be attributed to facing the Steelers' top-tier defense. That changes a bit this week, heading into Washington to take on the Football Team. Their defense has been good this season, but Burrow has been able to navigate all but the Steelers. He has attempted at least 30 pass attempts in every game this season and 36 or more in eight of nine games. The volume will be there once again for Burrow in what should be a tight game. He is a one-point underdog, and on the season in close games, he is averaging over 25 fantasy points per game. He is averaging over 20 fantasy points per game on the season, bringing in a strong cash game floor.
Alex Smith, WAS vs CIN | DK: $5,300, FD: $6,600
I never thought I would be writing up Alex Smith ever again, especially for cash games. Isn't 2020 something? Smith has stepped up and been quite a fantasy producer over the last two games with Dwayne Haskins's struggles and Kyle Allen's season-ending injury. Smith has attempted 30 or more passes in each game, thrown for 325 and 390 yards, while putting up close to 20 fantasy points per game in both games. Since returning as he faces the Bengals Defense, he will now have his best matchup, ranked 30 versus the pass over the last four games. The Bengals are allowing over 308 passing yards and 3.5 touchdowns per game to opposing quarterbacks over the last four games. This is not a joke but lock and load some Alex Smith this week in cash and GPP.
Jameis Winston will be a popular play, and I will not say he is not a cash value. He has a great matchup versus the Falcons and a very cash friendly price. Just remember he is Jameis, and Taysom Hill is always lurking.
UPDATE: Tayson Hill is now expected to start over Jameis Winston in a surprise move.
Week 11 Running Back Cash Game Value Plays
Antonio Gibson / J.D. McKissic, WAS vs CIN | DK: $5,800/$5,200, FD: $6,500/$5,600
The Football Team backfield has been quite the one-two punch over the last few weeks. Gibson has scored double-digit fantasy points in seven of eight games, and the one he did not, he scored 9.5. He has become the lead ball carrier and is good for 15+ touches a game. McKissic, on the other side, has turned into a pass-catching machine with Smith under center. He has six or more targets in six of his last seven games, and Smith has 14 or more targets and is getting 10+ touches a game. Both will have a major impact on Sunday's game versus the Bengals. Gibson may be the safer play for cash, but McKissic has some great PPR upside as well.
D'Andre Swift, DET at CAR | DK: $6,400 FD: $6,900
It has finally happened. The Lions announced Swift was the go-to guy in the backfield before last week's game, and they were not lying. Swift had 16 carries and five receptions on his way to a monster 20+ fantasy point game. He has 13 or more carries in back-to-back games and has at least four targets in all but one game this season. It gets even better for Swift this week as the Lions take on a Panthers Defense that ranks 29 on the season versus opposing backfields. They allow over 100 yards rushing, nearly seven receptions, and close to 30 fantasy points per game to running backs. Swift should have a healthy floor based on volume alone and, with a trip or two to the end zone, should see another 20+ point game. Swift is now in concussion protocol so keep an eye on that news.
Week 11 Wide Receiver Cash Game Value Plays
Chase Claypool/Diontae Johnson, PIT at JAX | DK: $6,100/$5,900, FD: $6,400/$6,400
The Steelers head into Sunday with a monster matchup in Jacksonville. They are 10 point road favorites with an implied team total of 28.5. Points should be aplenty for the Steelers, and that should result in another strong week for the Steelers' young wide receiving duo. Both receivers have shown a strong volume of late as Claypool has nine or more targets in three straight games and Johnson has 10 or more targets in three of the last four games. Both have been able to bring strong volume with double-digit fantasy point production in recent weeks, and that should not change this week. Lastly, they will face a Jaguars Defense that ranks 25 versus wide receivers the last four weeks, allowing over 40 fantasy points per game.
Brandin Cooks, HOU vs NE | DK: $5,200, FD: $6,100
Cooks was discussed as a value last week, the volume was there, but the weather prevented a massive game. With what some would consider a down week and maybe a tricky matchup versus the Patriots, Cooks's price has dropped and has made him a value once again. He has now been targeted at least eight times in the last five games, thanks, Bill O'Brien. The Patriots allow over a touchdown per game to wide receivers and with the Texans running back situation in some major flux, expect the Texans to be pass-happy once again. Get Cooks in your lineups again this week and enjoy.
Jalen Reagor, PHI at CLE | DK: $4,300, FD: $5,600
The Eagles offense continues to get healthy, making many mouths to feed, but Reagor is near the top of the chow time list. In his two games since returning from injury, he has six or more targets. The buzz out of Eagles' camp is Reagor is their next big thing and should be a major part of the offense weekly. If that is true, and the last two games make it feel true, Reagor's price tag is way too cheap. Another point in Reagor's favor is facing a Browns Defense that ranks 27 versus wide receivers. They are allowing over 180 receiving yards and over 1 touchdown per game to opposing WR. If you are concerned about too many options in Philadelphia, then pivot elsewhere, but at the same time, Reagor has slate breaking upside in this week's matchup at his price point.
Cam Sims is your punt at WR ($3,300/$5,000). He has seen four or more targets, caught at least three passes, and has at least 54 receiving yards in the last two games with Alex Smith under center. He is dirt cheap this week in a great matchup versus a bad Bengals Defense.
Week 11 Tight End Cash Game Value Plays
Logan Thomas, WAS vs CIN | DK: $3,300, FD: $5,200
Just another week where Thomas is a solid cash game value at tight end. With Smith under center, Thomas has been a popular target, receiving six targets in each game, but has yet to find the end zone, which could make him really explode. He will be facing the Bengals defense, which ranks 31 on the season versus tight ends and 32 over the last four games. They allow five receptions per game, over a touchdown per game, and around 20 fantasy points per game versus opposing tight ends. Thomas is in a great spot at quite a discounted price this week. As you can tell, the Football Team is priced very low in a smash spot this week, so do not vomit as you plug in multiple players from Washington.
