Before we know it, the season will be hitting its final stretch. It’s been quite a 2020 campaign for the NFL as the league tries to navigate COVID-19.
In addition, numerous injuries have affected fantasy managers this season too. The deep-end of the waiver wire is now saturated with less and less valuable gems because of more pickups due to injuries.
Nevertheless, there are still a few players who could be of value to you. Let’s look at those players and as always, they are rostered at or below 15% in Yahoo leagues.

Free Agent Quarterbacks
Alex Smith, Washington Football Team - 5% rostered
Alex Smith is in the conversation for Comeback Player of The Year, as the QB is now slated to play as the starter on the Washington Football Team after Kyle Allen went down for the season. Smith had 55 passing attempts and 390 passing yards in Week 10, which was quite incredible given the chance he might not have been able to play again. The QB is certainly worth picking up as a backup right now.
Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints - 2% rostered
With Drew Brees now dealing with injured ribs and a collapsed lung, Jameis Winston will fill in for the foreseeable future. Winston is a risky fantasy play, but he does have potential when he’s feeling it. The only unfortunate part is you don’t know which version you’ll get any given week. Still, he could be a good streaming option depending on the matchup in the coming weeks.
Free Agent Running Backs
Salvon Ahmed, Miami Dolphins - 5% rostered
Jordan Howard is no longer a Dolphin, and Salvon Ahmed is now that much closer to a solid role on this rising team. The back who is filling in for Myles Gaskin had 21 carries for 85 yards and a score in Week 10. Ahmed’s stock is rising and it is certainly realistic that he could have a large role for the rest of the season if he plays this way. He’s one of the best adds of the week.
Devontae Booker, Las Vegas Raiders - 3% rostered
Josh Jacobs may be the lead back on the Raiders, but Booker has been impressive the past couple of games. He has three rushing touchdowns total and had 81 and 68 rushing yards, respectively. Booker is worth a stash, but take a wait-and-see approach to see if he continues to build on his past two performances.
Free Agent Wide Receivers
Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis Colts - 9% rostered
The rookie’s role in this passing game will continue to grow, but he had his best outing of the season in Week 10, getting seven receptions for 101 yards on eight targets. Pittman also had seven targets in Week 9, and his role is only getting bigger. He’s another of the best adds of the week.
Breshad Perriman, New York Jets - 8% rostered
Yes, the Jets just stink, but their offense showed life in Week 9 and that probably wasn’t expected. One player who benefitted was former first-round pick Breshad Perriman, who grabbed five receptions for 101 yards and two scores on seven targets. With that eye-opening monster performance, Perriman is at least worth stashing right now and maybe even starting if you’re lacking depth.
Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts - 5% rostered
Pascal is another Colts WR to add, as he has compiled at least five targets in the past four games along with at least 44 yards in three of the past four games. He is the WR3 on the team, so he could offer flex value at the very least.
Denzel Mims, New York Jets - 5% rostered
I promise I’ll try and not make a habit of suggesting Jets players, but Mims is another guy to at least consider. In Week 9, the rookie had four receptions for 62 yards on eight targets and has seen at least seven targets in two of the three games he has played this season.
Josh Reynolds, Los Angeles Rams - 5% rostered
Though he is the WR3 on the team, Reynolds has been phenomenal lately. The WR has gotten at least eight targets in the past three games and has posted at least 44 yards in six of the past seven games. In Week 10, he posted a season-best eight receptions for 94 yards on 10 targets. Reynolds is now developing consistency and is a strong add this week.
Jakeem Grant, Miami Dolphins - 5% rostered
Grant has now been elevated to WR2 on the team with Preston Williams injured. The WR had four receptions for 43 yards and a score on five targets in Week 10 and has seen five targets the past two games. He’s at least a flex piece in deep leagues if you need help.
Marvin Hall, Detroit Lions - 1% rostered
With the Lions’ WR corp banged up, Hall has been fantastic the past few games. In Week 10, he had two receptions for 61 yards and a score on three targets. The WR also posted a season-best 113 yards a couple of weeks ago and it’s clear his fantasy value is on the rise.
Free Agent Tight Ends
Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Rams - 10% rostered
The yardage may not be there, but Everett has seen a good number of targets in the past few weeks. He has seen at least four targets in four of the past five games and has a modest role in this offense. He’s worth stashing as he could be a one-week fill-in if your star TE is on bye.
