We’ve made it to Week 11. Teams that are going to compete are becoming more and more clear while others are beginning to fade. We had 13 double-digit scoring kickers on the weekend heading into the Monday night game. Probably one of the most impressive stats was that seven kickers outscored the top two tight end scorers, Mark Andrews and Rob Gronkowski, from the week who put up 13.1 PPR points
We had some explosive performances and big kicks abound. Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass banged home three bombs from over 50 yards, including a personal best of 58. Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers cashed a big prop for the week by nailing a field goal from 61 yards. If you are a kicker lover, this was the week for you with all of the big shots we had going down.
With Covid-19 continuing to weave its way through NFL locker rooms, bye weeks are getting more and more difficult to navigate. We have four teams currently slated for byes this week in the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills. Giants’ kicker Graham Gano just signed a new deal, so I’m sure he’ll enjoy the week off. For the other three squads, all three of their kickers have been contenders to be in the rankings every week.

Tier 1 NFL Kickers
- Harrison Butker (KC) @ LV
- Jason Myers (SEA) vs ARI
- Mason Crosby (GB) @ IND
- Randy Bullock (CIN) @ WFT
- Zane Gonzalez (ARI) @ SEA
Kansas City Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker claims the top spot for this week. The Chiefs have been lulled into some lazy football at times this year, but this offense is still the most potent powder keg in football which won’t change against a suspect Las Vegas Raiders’ defense. Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers is next. While Seattle has regressed over the last few weeks, this offense is still scoring points, outside of the dud against the Los Angeles Rams. In a game that featured over 60 total points in their previous meeting, expect more fireworks on Thursday night between the Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals.
Green Bay Packers’ kicker Mason Crosby is up next. Crosby remains one of two NFL kickers to be perfect on field-goal attempts this year. Despite turning 36 just before the season started and playing outdoors for the majority of his games while also dealing with an injury, he’s still Mr. Reliable. Against an Indianapolis Colts’ group that has been exposed at times this season, slot Crosby in for a good week. Cincinnati Bengals’ kicker Randy Bullock is up next. This offense should bounce back despite the road matchup with the Washington Football Team. Arizona Cardinals’ kicker Zane Gonzalez rounds out the top five. There is going to be a ton of offense in this matchup, so you should want as many pieces as possible.
Tier 2 NFL Kickers
- Jason Sanders (MIA) @ DEN
- Chris Boswell (PIT) @ JAX
- Michael Badgley (LAC) vs NYJ
- Joey Slye (CAR) vs DET
- Wil Lutz (NO) vs ATL
Miami Dolphins’ kicker Jason Sanders leads off our next tier. There is a case for him to be in the top this week with an offense that is really finding their footing heading to that thin Denver air along with him being nearly perfect on the year, but he just misses that cut. Pittsburgh Steelers’ kicker Chris Boswell is up next. He is the only other flawless kicker on the year. They have a matchup in the nice Florida weather against a spiraling Jacksonville Jaguars’ group. Slot the Wizard of Bos in this week.
Los Angeles Chargers’ kicker Michael Badgley is probably licking his chops. This offense has been putting up points for the last two months, and they now get a matchup with the New York Jets. Run up some points here. Carolina Panthers’ kicker Joey Slye gets the next spot. He’s been one of the NFL’s best this year, and that will continue against a Detroit Lions’ defense that just gave up 27 at home against the Washington Football Team. New Orleans’ Saints kicker Wil Lutz rounds out our top 10. Quarterback Drew Brees has a strong chance to miss the game, but that opens up big plays with backup Jameis Winston under center. Against a suspect Atlanta Falcons’ defense, get Lutz out there.
Tier 3 NFL Kickers
- Justin Tucker (BAL) vs TEN
- Rodrigo Blankenship (IND) vs GB
- Cody Parkey (CLE) vs PHI
- Ryan Succop (TB) vs LAR
- Stephen Gostkowski (TEN) @ BAL
Baltimore Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker leads off our third tier. It’s tough to leave the NFL’s best kicker off the list, especially against a Tennessee Titans’ defense that gave up 34 points to the Indianapolis Colts. Speaking of the Colts, their kicker Rodrigo “Hot Rod” Blankenship is next. His team has a matchup with the Packers, who just struggled with the Jacksonville Jaguars and have the recipe to make life difficult on them.
Cleveland Browns’ kicker Cody Parkey gets our next spot. This team has flaws, but they are finding ways to win games. Against the Philadelphia Eagles, they have a strong chance to put up some points and move to 7-3 on the year. Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ kicker Ryan Succop is next. This team is hard to get a read on, but they have enough offensive weapons to get Succop a good amount of scoring opportunities. Titans’ kicker Stephen Gostkowski rounds out this week’s ranks. It’s unclear if this team will be able to completely dominate Baltimore as they did in the playoffs, but Baltimore is struggling right now. Tennessee needs this win badly. It should be a great game.
Kickers to Avoid
Sam Ficken is our first avoidance of the week because *checks notes* Adam Gase is still the head coach. This team has shown some fight recently, and I still don’t want any piece of the Jets regardless of the matchup.
Chase McLaughlin of the Jacksonville Jaguars grabs our next spot. The Steelers just got done shutting down the high-flying Bengals, and they are poised to do the same thing again to keep their undefeated season rolling.
Jake Elliot of the Philadelphia Eagles grabs the final avoidance spot of the week. This Eagles’ team just can’t get out of their own way even in a division that has tried to give them an easy win. Against a good Browns’ team, just fade him this week.
