Nick Boyle Suffers Season-Ending Injury Sunday Night
4 years agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Nick Boyle (knee) suffered a season-ending left knee injury in the third quarter of the Sunday night loss to the Patriots in Week 10, according to head coach John Harbaugh. It's a big loss for a run-first team like Baltimore, as Boyle is considered one of the top blocking tight ends in football. He also entered the game as the team's sixth-leading receiver. The 27-year-old was a vital part of Baltimore's offense, but he wasn't much of a fantasy asset, catching only 14 passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns in nine games this season behind Mark Andrews, who is the team's top pass-catching tight end. Andrews should see some more looks with Boyle now done for the season. Baltimore also has Xavier Grimble and Sean Culkin on their practice squad.
