Jerick McKinnon Averages Just 1.8 Yards Per Carry In Week 10
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon had a heavy workload in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints, but struggled to do much with it. He had a team-high 18 carries in the game, which he took for just 33 yards. He also caught one of his three targets for 13 yards. The workload was certainly encouraging, but the performance was underwhelming, to say the least. JaMycal Hasty only saw three carries in the game, while no other player on the 49ers had more than one carry. The 49ers have a much-needed bye in Week 11. After that, McKinnon may see more competition for touches if any or all of Raheem Mostert (ankle), Tevin Coleman (knee) and Jeff Wilson Jr. (ankle) are able to return.
