Curtis Samuel In The WR4 Conversation
4 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel broke out in a big way last week against the Chiefs. Samuel could be hard-pressed to repeat that effort in Week 10 against the Buccaneers' stingy pass defense, which has been a top-five unit this season. Fortunately, Samuel has done much more than operate as a wide receiver lately, as he has six carries in his last two games with two rushing touchdowns in his past three contests. Samuel could see increased opportunities on the ground with Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) out of the lineup. He's a WR4 in this tough matchup, though he has the talent to sneak his way to a WR3 finish.
