Chase Edmonds Will Be Either An RB2 Or Flex Option In Week 10
4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds saw a season-high 28 touches in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do a ton with them, averaging just 2.8 yards per carry and gaining only 88 total yards. This week, as the Cardinals face the Buffalo Bills, the team could have Kenyan Drake (ankle) back, which would likely relegate Edmonds to backup duties again. Drake is currently questionable for the game. He's been limited at practice this week as he continues to nurse an ankle injury. If Drake sits, Edmonds is a no-doubt RB2 in all formats. If Drake is active, Edmonds becomes a flex option with a bit of risk involved. Edmonds will be involved in the passing game regardless of Drake's presence, but if Drake is active, Edmonds likely won't see more than four or five carries.
