Calais Campbell Likely To Miss Multiple Weeks
4 years agoBaltimore Ravens Pro Bowl defensive lineman Calais Campbell (calf) suffered a calf strain in the Week 9 win over the Colts that will likely cause him to miss multiple weeks, according to sources. The good news is Campbell doesn't have any structural issues. It's not a major injury, but calf strains have a tendency to linger. The 34-year-old from Miami suffered the injury early in the first half on Sunday, so he was unable to generate any points for his fantasy managers in IDP leagues. Acquired from the Jaguars in an offseason trade, Campbell has four sacks on the year and causes havoc in the opponent's backfield on a weekly basis. The Ravens Defense will certainly miss him in the trenches, but they have enough talent around him and they should remain in starting lineups for Week 10 against the Patriots.
