Chase Edmonds Gains 88 Yards In Week 9
4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds had the backfield to himself in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins with Kenyan Drake (ankle) out for the game. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a mixed bag performance for Edmonds. He averaged only 2.8 yards per carry in the game, carrying the ball 25 times for 70 yards. He also added three catches for 18 yards on three targets. The workload was extremely encouraging for Edmonds, but his failure to excel with the workload could prevent him from earning a more significant share of touches once Drake returns. Regardless, he'll remain at minimum an RB2 option as long as Drake remains sidelined.
